North-east young in alcohol warning

The number of under-18s receiving alcohol treatment in the north east of England is almost twice the national average, according to new figures.

The North East Alcohol Office says more than 600 teenagers in the region are undergoing treatment - and that alcohol is too affordable, too available and too heavily promoted to young people.
