UK's youngest altruistic Kidney donor

The UK's joint-youngest altruistic donor explains why he wanted to give one of his kidneys to someone he will never meet.

Luc Delauzun was 25 when he underwent the procedure.

He told BBC Breakfast that when he saw the extent of the waiting list for a kidney he felt he had to do something to help.

Lisa Burnapp, the lead nurse at NHS Blood and Transplant, explained that a donor's health is monitored annually after the operation.
