Fat sugar levels in food should have legal limits, say Labour

Labour has urged the government to consider tougher regulation of the food industry.

The party says voluntary agreements to cut fat, sugar and salt in food are not working and legal limits should be considered but companies and the Department of Health in England say there has been significant progress.
