Miscarriages 'are often hard to talk about'

It is estimated that around a quarter of pregnancies in the UK end in miscarriage.

According to the Miscarriage Association it is not a topic that couples talk about. It hopes an awareness campaign will encourage people to share their experiences.

Ruth Bender Atik, of the Miscarriage Association, said sometimes people did not know what to say to others when they had a miscarriage.
