Cosmetic surgery 'has been trivialised'

Cosmetic surgery has been trivialised, and some procedures should be made available only through prescription, an independent review has said.

The study, commissioned by the Department of Health, suggests procedures such as injections to plump up the skin and remove wrinkles are a "crisis waiting to happen".
