Father on hopes genetic research could help his daughter

Edward Sherley-Price has told the BBC how genetic research enabled doctors to pinpoint his daughter's learning disability.

Mr Sherley-Price said before the diagnosis he and his wife had not known "where to turn" but there were now potential answers.

His comments come as experts embark on a project to revolutionise medicine by unlocking the secrets of DNA in centres across England.
