Prescription drug survey: 'Too many medicines, not enough health'

Men and women in England are being "over-treated and over-diagnosed", a doctor has claimed.

Results from the comprehensive Health Survey for England found that half of women and 43% of men in England are now regularly taking prescription drugs.

Dr Clare Gerada, a GP, told the BBC that a culture of "too many medicines and not enough health" had developed.
