Numbers of boys self-harming 'at a five year high'

Figures from the Health and Social Care Information Centre reveal that the number of young boys admitted to A&E after self-harming is at a five year high in England.

They show that 659 boys aged 10 to 14 have gone into hospital in England over the last year with self-inflicted injuries.

Experts say many boys find it more difficult than girls to admit to doing it.

In this report, Sima Kotecha speaks to a young man who explains how self-harming became a way of coping with life.
