NHS drug costs 'do more harm than good'

The NHS in England is paying too much for some new drugs, leaving less money to cover the cost of other treatments, according to a new study by health economists.

The report from the University of York says the approach used by NICE - the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence - to work out what medicines are worth, is doing more harm than good.
