100,000 Genomes project 'making huge difference'

The 100,000 Genomes Project is mapping the genomes of tens of thousands of patients with rare diseases and their relatives. It's hoped that patients will one day be offered a diagnosis where there wasn't one before.

Vivienne Parry is Head of Engagement at Genomics England. She told the Today programme the project has made a huge difference, despite still being in the early stages.
