Covid-19 Brazil variant case 'traced using latest technology’

Dr Susan Hopkins has explained in detail how a missing case of someone with the P.1 coronavirus variant was found with the help of NHS Test and Trace England.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock told a Downing Street briefing that there was "no sign of any onwards transmission".

The variant, which appears to be more contagious, was first found in Manaus, Brazil.
