Internet 'addicts' seek help through psychotherapy

As broadband and mobile internet access continues to penetrate every corner of the US market, some individuals are now seeking help for what they claim to be severe internet addiction.

Meanwhile, psychiatrists who specialise in internet and technology addiction have begun popping up around the US, offering up psychotherapy treatments like "eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing".

The BBC's Matt Danzico and Laura Trevelyan visited Hartford, Connecticut, where one family is helping their son to win the fight against his supposed technology illness.
