Miami neighbourhood Wynwood revitalised with street art
"Feed the neighbourhood and it will feed you." That was one of Tony Goldman's slogans as the real estate developer invested in New York's SoHo and Miami Beach in the 1970s and 80s.
The Wynwood Arts District in Miami is the latest project of Goldman Properties, now overseen by Goldman's daughter, Jessica Goldman Srebnick.
Graffiti artists from around the world were brought in to paint the walls of Wynwood; restaurants, design shops and co-working spaces quickly followed.
"We always know we're on the right track when people say, 'Why would you want to be here?'" Goldman Srebnick told the BBC on a recent visit to Miami.
