World Cup 2014: Rio resident on decorating the streets in green and yellow
Alexandre dos Santos has been decorating his street in Brazil colours for every World Cup since 1986.
The street, Rua Jorge Rudge, is only a 15-minute walk from Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, and throughout the tournament it glows in yellow and green.
A big screen set up at the end of the street serves as the gathering place for residents and friends alike.
The BBC's Franz Strasser visited the street and asked Mr Santos how the population would take a loss at the tournament.
