Newsbeat learns how to fall off a racehorse safely

The Gold Cup is the most anticipated at the Cheltenham Festival covering a distance of over three miles (five kilometres) and 22 fences with a total prize fund of around £500,000.

Every jockey in that race will have fallen off a horse on numerous occasions throughout their careers and it is part of their job to learn how to fall safely.

We sent Newsbeat's sports reporter Simon Mundie to the British Racing School to learn how to take a tumble like a pro.
