Newsbeat's Simon Mundie learns how to be a jockey

Cheltenham Festival is the most prestigious meeting in the jump racing calendar, hosting 28 races over four days.

Each of the jockeys will have undergone rigorous training over many years to get themselves in shape to compete at the highest level.

Michael Tebbutt was a jockey for 25 years, rode a winner on every flat race course in Great Britain and now trains at the British Racing School.

He gave Simon Mundie just one afternoon to learn the basics.
