But England manager Roy Hodgson is enlisting off-field help at the Brazil World Cup to help players mentally prepare for high pressure moments.
Sports psychiatrist Dr Steve Peters, who has worked with Ronnie O'Sullivan and British Cycling in the past, is travelling to Brazil with the squad.
