Commonwealth Games: Newsbeat visits five Glasgow hotspots

Ahead of the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony on Wednesday evening, Newsbeat has been exploring some of the best parts of the host city, Glasgow.

19-year-old Katie Kinloch is from the city and is one of 15,000 Clyde-sider volunteers who will be helping at the 2014 Games.

They are the Commonwealth version of the London 2012 Olympic Games Makers.

We have visited one of the key venues for the event and one of Katie's favourite places to eat.
