Tim Peake: How pupils can join my botany experiment
British astronaut Tim Peake has been explaining how schoolchildren can get involved with his botany experiment, Rocket Science.
About half a million pupils will have the opportunity to grow a packet of rocket seeds - currently with him on the International Space Station - as part of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) project.
Once the seeds are back, the children will grow them alongside identical ones that stayed on earth to compare their germination and growth.
The space seeds are enduring different conditions, as Major Tim explains.
