Tim Peake: A look back at the British astronaut's launch week
Tim Peake blasted off into space on Tuesday 15 December, becoming the first UK government-sponsored astronaut.
He is now part of the crew on the International Space Station.
On Friday 18 December, he gave his first news briefing in which he told journalists how he was adapting to micro-gravity.
