Nasa video shows Northern Lights in high definition

Nasa has released time-lapse footage from the International Space Station showing the Aurora Borealis in spectacular detail.

The phenomenon, better known as the Northern Lights, occurs when electrically-charged particles from the Sun enter the Earth's atmosphere.
