Stethoscope app created for smartphones

A new application for smartphones could see doctors using their mobiles to monitor patients' hearts.

The i-Stethoscope uses sensors in the phone to check a person's heart, and data can be collected and shared much more easily.

But doctors say there are some things the app cannot do, and it is no substitute for the doctor-patient relationship.
