Electric car charge stations on motorway services

Battery recharge stations for electric cars are being installed along motorways from London to Edinburgh.

Energy firm Ecotricity is installing the power points at Welcome Break services, on what they say will be the world's first national "electric highway".

But as Rory Cellan-Jones has found out, drivers planning a long journey may be forced to plan breaks lasting many hours.
