Hands-tied kit: Designer tests bluetooth glove phone
Increasingly manufacturers and developers are experimenting with wearable technology.
Recent innovations include clothes that display twitter updates, mobile phone headsets, Google glasses, mobile phones that work in conjunction with wristwatches, and bracelets that track your fitness regime.
As an experiment in wearable tech, and to highlight the possibilities of recycling old mobile phones in an imaginative way, designer Sean Miles of Designworks was approached by O2 Recycling to experiment at will.
His latest prototype is customised, bluetooth-enabled gloves, that work in conjunction with a mobile phone - you speak into the pinkie, and listen through the thumb.
At his company's design studio in Windsor, he gave the BBC's Dougal Shaw an exclusive gloves-on demonstration.
