Making social networking a real-life reality

A new app aims to make it possible for people to meet their social networking connections in the real world.

Socialmaps is an iOS and Android app from a Swedish start-up of the same name.

It aims to tie up all the different services like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google+, enabling a face-to-face meeting connection from service users in the vicinity.

But how much do we really want to meet our virtual connections socially?
