Darpa Robotics Challenge: The best falls and fails
Teams from around the world have taken part in the Darpa Robotics Challenge in the US.
The competition staged in Los Angles by the US Department of Defense, saw robots take on a series of simulated disaster scenarios.
Just three out of 23 teams manage to complete all eight tasks set for the robots.
The top $2m (£1.3m) prize went to South Korea's Team Kaist, which finished significantly faster than any other team in 44 minutes 28 seconds.
But there were many falls for the competitors over the course of the two day event.
