Instagram boss on pitching to the Pope

Image-sharing network Instagram has announced it now has 500 million active users - with 300 million logging on at least once a day.

It's the app that really kickstarted the selfie craze, but has recently faced user backlash over changes to both its logo and the algorithm that is used to decide the order images are displayed.
