Jetpack pilot in flight across Royal Docks

A former commercial pilot, hoping to raise funds to develop an electric jetpack, has been showing how humans really can fly.

David Mayman, flew at a height of 30m for four minutes wearing a turbine jet engine-powered JB-10 jetpack over the Royal Docks in east London.

He hopes to make an electric version of the gadget, which currently runs on jet fuel, to be available in 2019 - at a price of nearly £200,000.
