UK soldiers find bomb factory in Afghanistan

British soldiers have found a cache of IEDs and bomb-making components in a village in Helmand on the second day of a major offensive against Taliban insurgents.

Commanders say the operation has met only light resistance as soldiers consolidate their hold on ground seized from the Taliban around the town of Saidabad.
