More snowfall has closed roads and schools in the UK

Many parts of the UK are bracing themselves for further disruption from fresh snowfalls -- with ice expected to be a major hazard on the roads tonight.

Snow has fallen again across the east of Scotland and north-east England. Forecasters say the cold spell could last a fortnight, with snow reaching England's southern counties next week.

James Cook reports from Aberdeenshire where more than 120 schools are closed.
