Edinburgh airport defeated by constant snowfall

Snow and ice have brought disruption to roads across Scotland and closed schools in some areas for a third day.

The Forth Bridge has been closed and the M8 motorway between Glasgow and Edinburgh has been down to one lane in stretches, with snow still falling.

Edinburgh airport is now closed until Thursday morning. Flights from other airports have also been disrupted.
