Cameron: 'Egypt should go down the path of reform'
David Cameron says he believes Egypt must have a "proper, orderly transition to a more democratic situation".
However, he stopped short of saying President Mubarak should step down, adding it would be bad for any government to be pointing the finger and trying to pick new leaders.
Speaking to BBC Breakfast, the prime minister called Egypt a good friend of the United Kingdom and said he had spoken to both President Mubarak and US President Obama about the situation.
