Sex register appeals to go ahead

Anyone put on the sex offenders register for life in England and Wales - including paedophiles and rapists - is to be given the right to appeal so they can have their name removed.

The government is making the change after it lost a case last year in the Supreme Court when judges ruled that offenders' human rights were being infringed.
