William Hague: 'Gaddafi's regime has lost legitimacy'

Senior diplomats, gathered for a meeting on the future of Libya, say military action will continue until Muammar Gaddafi's regime complies with all UN resolutions on the protection of civilians.

Some 40 delegations met in London to discuss the next steps for Libya amid UN-backed military action.

In a closing statement at the conference, Foreign Secretary William Hague said that Col Gaddafi's regime had lost its legitimacy and it will be 'judged on its actions, not on its words.'
