41-gun salute for President Obama at Buckingham Palace

President Obama inspected a Guard of Honour in the grounds of Buckingham Palace as a 41-gun salute sounded from nearby Green Park.

Mr Obama listened to the American national anthem before walking amongst the Scots Guards with the Duke of Edinburgh.

The Obamas are on a three-day state visit to the UK as part of a week-long trip to Europe.
