Cuts may deny poorer children outdoor school trips
Children from poorer homes could be denied the chance to go on school trips to outdoor education centres because of spending cuts.
The BBC has learned that funding for almost all local authority run centres, in England and Wales, is being cut completely and in future parents will have to pay the full costs.
Some centres are closing and critics say it could divide children into those that can afford it and those that cannot.
