Prince Charles's taxpayer funding and tax bill increase

The amount of funding Prince Charles received from the taxpayer increased last year by nearly 18%, an extra £298,000.

But the amount he paid in tax has also gone up by £914,000.

The figures are contained in the Annual Review 2011, issued by Clarence House, which covers the activities of Charles and Camilla as well as William, Catherine and Harry.

Daniel Boettcher has the details.
