Phone hacking: Coulson bailed as NoW row rumbles on
Former News of the World editor Andy Coulson has been released on police bail after his arrest over allegations of corruption and phone-hacking at the paper.
PM David Cameron earlier defended his decision to employ Mr Coulson as his communications chief and announced two inquiries into the scandal at the newspaper.
The developments came a day after it was announced that the Sunday tabloid would close in the wake of allegations of phone hacking and corruption.
Mr Coulson has denied any knowledge of wrongdoing while he was NoW editor.
