Sir Paul Stephenson: Decision to leave 'my decision only'

MPs have been questioning the former Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Sir Paul Stephenson, who has stepped down over the phone-hacking scandal.

Sir Paul announced his resignation on Sunday over the force's hiring of Neil Wallis, who was a deputy editor at the News of the World.

Speaking before the Home Affairs Select Committee, chaired by Keith Vaz, he told MPs his decision to quit was his decision only.
