Phone hacking: 'I would not have given Wallis job'
The director of public affairs at the Metropolitan Police says that with hindsight he would not have given a former News of the World executive a PR job.
Nick Wallis was at the newspaper at the time of alleged phone hacking, and was reportedly a friend of then Assistant Commissioner John Yates - who re-examined the original hacking investigation.
When challenged by MPs in a select committee hearing into the hacking row, Dick Fedorcio said "lots of things would have been done differently", and he would not reappoint Mr Wallis today.
