Rupert Murdoch: 'That is the first I've heard of that'

Rupert Murdoch has said he was unaware of some of the serious allegations against the News of the World when questioned by Labour MP Tom Watson.

Mr Murdoch paused extensively, and his son James made several attempts to intervene.

Mr Watson responded by saying "Your father is responsible for corporate governance and serious wrongdoing has been brought about in the company".
