Rupert Murdoch 'sickened' by NoW hacking allegations

Rupert Murdoch apologised for the actions of the News of the World as he read a statement which ended three hours of evidence to MPs from himself and son James.

The News Corp boss said he was "sickened" when he heard that Milly Dowler's voicemail has been intercepted, and added that saying sorry was not enough.

He said: "James and I would like to say how sorry we are for what has happened, especially with regard to listening to the voicemail of victims of crimes."
