Murdoch's 'shock' at paying some of Mulcaire legal fees

James Murdoch has said he was "shocked" to learn that some of Glenn Mulcaire's legal fees had been paid by News International during the course of civil actions.

Mr Mulcaire was the private investigator jailed for phone hacking in 2006.

Murdoch added he did not know the current status of contribution to the investigator's fees.
