Theresa May on US 'supercop': 'We need to learn lessons'

The president of the Association of Chief Police Officers, Sir Hugh Orde has criticised the decision by David Cameron to consult a former American police chief on dealing with street gangs and rioting.

Home Secretary Theresa May said it is important to learn lessons from the United States' experience in dealing with gangs, but that she will create an international panel of experts including police in the UK to end gang violence.
