Mum of dead girl targeted on the internet speaks out
A mother says she's pleased that a man has been jailed after posting abusive messages online about her dead daughter.
Sean Duffy, 25, from Reading, was jailed on Tuesday for 18 weeks, in the first case of so-called 'trolling.'
Carol Gelder's daughter Lauren Drew died earlier this year and from Mother's Day onwards Mrs Gelder started seeing abusive messages about her daughter posted online.
She told Radio 5 live's Victoria Derbyshire that she hoped this would deter other people from posting similar messages in the future.
