Gillian Molyneux: 'No relief, only heartbreak'

The widow of a Royal Navy officer shot dead on HMS Astute has said she feels "no relief" after his killer was jailed for life.

Able Seaman Ryan Samuel Donovan, admitted murdering Lt Cdr Ian Molyneux, 36, of Wigan, Greater Manchester, on board the nuclear submarine.

Speaking outside court, Gillian Molyneux said that nothing could replace her "hero and true love" and that the conclusion of the case would not end her "ongoing heartbreak and sadness".
