Dr Giles Fraser explains why he resigned from St Paul's
The canon chancellor of St Paul's Cathedral has resigned from his post, as anti-capitalist protesters continue their demonstration outside the London landmark.
Dr Giles Fraser had been sympathetic to the protest camp, which led to the building's week-long closure on health and safety grounds.
Speaking to the BBC's Robert Pigott, Dr Fraser said that he resigned because he could not support any move by the church to forcibly evict the demonstrators, which would likely equate to the use of "violence".
