Talks to change 300-year royal succession laws
The Queen has opened a Commonwealth summit in the Australian city of Perth.
The 54-nation organisation, which represents two billion people around the globe, will discuss economic growth, climate change and human rights - but there will also be a debate on reforms to the British monarchy.
Leaders are expected to pledge to overturn the 300-year-old succession laws, so a first-born daughter can take the throne ahead of any brothers.
