JK Rowling says 'no magic answer' to solve press intrusion

JK Rowling has urged Lord Justice Leveson to come up with a body for regulating the press with the power to impose sanctions.

But, inadvertently referring to her multi-million pound Harry Potter franchise, she added that she had "no magic answer" to control the media's most intrusive excesses.

Ms Rowling was speaking at the Leveson Inquiry into media ethics at the Royal Courts of Justice in London.
