Alleged spy Katia Zatuliveter: 'I lost a year of my life'

An alleged Russian spy who had an affair with Liberal Democrat MP Mike Hancock and worked for him has won her appeal against deportation.

The Special Immigration Appeals Commission said it had seen nothing to prove Katia Zatuliveter was a spy tasked to seduce Mr Hancock.

Speaking to the BBC's Panorama, she said she was delighted she had won her case.

She said the whole process had been unfair and she had lost a year of her life.

"If you're a Russian in this country, you're a spy," Miss Zatuliveter added.
